Randy Augsberger
A native of Central California, Randy Augsberger has been sculpting in metal for over 20 years. He credits his father as being his initial inspiration in sculpting. His father’s first love was sculpting in bronze alloys. When Randy was about 6, his father was sculpting in the style of Italian sculptor Giacometti, who often depicted figures with an elongated flair.
Randy is best known locally for his kinetic fish wind chimes. The fish are hand cut from flat plate and are individually finished by hand, including the application of a colored patina. Because of his methods, each piece is a one-of-a-kind work of art.
His sculptures have been included in private collections both nationally and internationally, including Germany, Australia and Canada.
